Less friction
Ordinary towels can rough up the curl pattern. The Resilience Towel is intended for gentler drying with less rubbing.
CIRRA
Science-informed care for mature curls
CIRRA is thoughtful curl care for women whose hair no longer behaves quite as it once did. Gentle rituals, considered products and guidance that meets you where you are now.
Curls that evolve with youThoughtful care, at every stage
Meet the founder
I've lived with curly hair all my life. Like so many women, I spent years trying products that promised beautiful curls but never seemed to understand how our hair changes as we get older.
After nearly three decades in retail, I realised there was an opportunity to create something different. Not another trendy curl brand, but a thoughtful, premium collection created specifically for mature curls.
CIRRA has never been about chasing trends. It's about confidence, resilience and creating products that genuinely help women love their curls at every stage of life.
Every ingredient, every bottle and every decision is guided by one simple question:
“Would I be delighted to use this myself?”
I'm so pleased you're here, and I can't wait to share the next chapter of the CIRRA journey with you.
Rachel
Founder of CIRRA
Good curl care should not ask you to fight the hair you have now.
The first release
A softer start to wash day, created to dry curls with less rubbing and unnecessary disruption.
Ordinary towels can rough up the curl pattern. The Resilience Towel is intended for gentler drying with less rubbing.
Wrap, press and pause. The towel begins the CIRRA ritual before cleanser, mist or styling product.
Soft sage, warm cream and restrained rose-gold details turn an everyday step into something worth taking time over.
The CIRRA ritual
Healthy-looking curls are supported by what happens between wash days as much as what happens on them. CIRRA is being built around a small sequence of gentle, repeatable steps.
Dry gently
Cleanse thoughtfully
Replenish moisture
What follows
The CIRRA range will grow slowly and with purpose. The Resilience Brush is an early concept for comfortable detangling, with flexible bristles and a cushioned base.

Founder Notes No. 1
There comes a point when you stop asking, “Why doesn't someone make this?” and start asking, “What if I did?”
For me, that question came after years of living with curly hair.
Like many women, my relationship with my curls has changed over time. What worked in my twenties didn't work in my forties, and by my fifties I realised something surprising: the products available for curly hair rarely seemed to acknowledge that curls change as we do.
They became harder to manage, more fragile, less predictable. Yet almost every conversation in the industry was still centred around defining curls, adding moisture or chasing perfect ringlets.
I wasn't looking for perfection.
I was looking for resilience.
For products that helped my curls feel healthier, softer and easier to care for, without making me feel as though I was trying to recreate the hair I had thirty years ago.
After spending twenty-nine years in retail, I understood how powerful great brands can be. The very best don't simply sell products; they earn trust by understanding the people they serve.
I realised there was an opportunity to create something I wished had existed.
Not another curly hair brand.
A brand created specifically for mature curls.
That was the beginning of CIRRA.
Today, CIRRA is still being built. There are formulation meetings, packaging decisions, supplier calls and countless moments where progress feels slower than I'd like. But every decision is guided by the same principle:
Create products worthy of the women they'll serve.
My hope is that CIRRA becomes more than a collection of bottles on a bathroom shelf.
I hope it becomes a trusted source of knowledge, encouragement and beautifully designed products that help women feel confident in their curls at every stage of life.
Thank you for following the journey.
We're only just getting started.
